STA believes it is critical that we come together as a healthcare community to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
The STA hospital support staff and clinicians are limiting hospital interactions to clinical case management only. We are committed to caring for our potential donor population and their families and continue facilitating the opportunity to save lives through organ donation.
STA has suspended employee attendance at events related to employee education, donor registration, community events, media events or ceremonies of any kind.
To ensure everyone’s safety, every organ donor will be tested for COVID-19 to ensure donor suitability. Any potential organ donor with COVID-19 symptoms will be ineligible for donation to ensure the safety of the transplant community.
