Southwest Transplant Alliance Announces New Executive Team

Dallas – Jan. 20, 2022 – Southwest Transplant Alliance (STA) announced today a new executive team, anchored by tenured employees and industry professionals, that will help save more lives and serve more than 10 million Texans throughout its donor service area.

In late 2021, STA Chief Executive Officer and veteran leader Patti Niles announced that she will transition to retirement by the end of 2022 and that Brad Adams will be her successor. Adams will serve as the organization’s president this year and assume the CEO role at the beginning of 2023.

Together, Niles and Adams have hand-selected STA’s going-forward executive leadership team.

“The leaders we have cultivated over the past several years are stepping into new roles, ready to move STA into the future. Together, we are committed to serving our community – donor families, hospitals and transplant centers – through every step of the rapid-paced and complex donation and transplantation process,” Adams said. “As they say, ‘iron sharpens iron,’ and I can’t wait to see what this tenured group of professionals will accomplish as a team.”

STA’s executive leadership team includes:
