Southwest Transplant Alliance Announces the Patti Niles Center of Excellence

DALLAS – Sept. 27, 2022 – Southwest Transplant Alliance (STA) has named its Center of Excellence in honor of its retiring Chief Executive Officer Patti Niles. The space is a tribute to Niles and her commitment to industry and organizational innovation. The Patti Niles Center of Excellence has already hosted a number of events, including the Innovations in Transplantation Summit in partnership with Baylor Scott & White Health, The All-Council Meeting of The Alliance for Organ Donation and Transplantation, and the Leadership Dallas program of the Dallas Regional Chamber. As already demonstrated, The Patti Niles Center of Excellence will foster education, innovation, and inspiration surrounding organ and tissue donation best practices and opportunities for the future.

“I can think of no more fitting tribute for Patti than this, who is known as an innovative leader of excellence,” said Brad Adams, President of STA and Niles’ successor. “The future of this space is in its ongoing commitment to education and collaboration. It is our responsibility to continue to advance our work for the betterment of the entire community.”

The Southwest Transplant Alliance corporate campus is a state-of-the-art facility including more than 75,000 square feet of space designed to help realize the opportunity for organ and tissue donation and save lives. Since its opening in 2020, the space has continued to evolve to help advance transplant science through innovative projects and initiatives.

“It is an honor to have the Center of Excellence named in my honor. This concept is both physical and philosophical, and my hope is that the spirit of innovation and creativity I was so fortunate to lead will continue in that space for years to come,” said Niles.
