Southwest Transplant Alliance exists to save
and improve lives by providing organs and tissues for transplantation.

We distinguish ourselves by forging meaningful relationships with
donor families and the communities we serve in order to realize every
possible donation.

Vision Statement
Every organ and tissue donation opportunity is realized as long
as the need exists.

Housed in Dallas with offices throughout the state, Southwest Transplant
Alliance (STA) is a non-profit organ and tissue donor program serving hospitals
& patients throughout much of Texas.

Founded in 1974, STA is one of the largest of 59 federally designated organ
procurement organizations in the U.S. In its service area, STA is the official
link between those who need an organ to survive, and those who have the
potential to save their lives by becoming donors.

STA is also a part of the nation's organ procurement and sharing network
STA is the primary source for information about donation in its area, and
conducts hundreds of community and professional education
programs each year.
