However, the same surveys also show that too few people actually register to be donors. 

Even if you have already signed a donor card or have put a donor sticker on your drivers license, you are not a registered donor.  The Donate Life Texas Registry allows Texans to sign up to be donors online or at their local DPS offices.  Your donation could save and enhance more than 50 lives.

If you have not yet made a personal pledge to be a donor, consider doing the following:

1. Most importantly, take the time to register at your local DPS office or online at www.donatelifetexas.org.
2. If you'd like, sign and carry a donor card.

Register to be an organ and tissue donor.
It is a chance for one final, heroic act to turn a loss into a life-giving opportunity.
