Hope Ambassadors play an important role in inspiring others through community events, educational programs, advocacy efforts, and public speaking opportunities. By sharing personal experiences and the impact of donation, ambassadors help bring hope, healing, and awareness to communities across Texas while encouraging others to support the lifesaving mission of donation and transplantation.

Each year, Southwest Transplant Alliance proudly honors our donor heroes at the annual Hope Starts Here 5K. This meaningful event brings together donor families, transplant recipients, living donors, healthcare partners, and community supporters to celebrate the lifesaving impact of organ, eye, and tissue donation. We invite you to become a Team Captain and gather your friends, family, and supporters to walk or run in honor and memory of your loved one. Together, we celebrate their legacy, share hope, and help raise awareness for the gift of life throughout our communities.
