Obituary & Memorial Giving Language

Many families choose to include memorial giving language in an obituary or service program as a meaningful way to honor a loved one’s life and values. 

Sample language to include the STA Foundation:

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of [Name] to the STA Foundation, supporting organ and tissue donation and transplantation.

Make a gift online at organ.org/sta-foundation or mail a contribution to: STA Foundation (8190 Manderville Lane, Dallas, Texas 75231). Please include “in memory of [Name]” in the memo line.

Notification of Gifts:

The STA Foundation notifies families of memorial and tribute gifts made in honor or memory of their loved one. Families will receive a report listing contributor names and amount made.

Contributors who prefer their gift not be shared may indicate this when making their contribution. Anonymous gifts are always respected.
