Vice President, Audit, Compliance, And Patient Safety

Jaskiran (Jas) Kaur is the Vice President of Audit, Compliance, and Patient Safety at Southwest Transplant Alliance. In her role, she leads regulatory and corporate compliance, internal audit, external audit and investigation oversight, adverse event management, and patient safety. Additionally, she serves as STA’s Corporate Compliance Officer and Patient Safety Officer.

Jas brings over two decades of experience in healthcare, previously serving as the Director of Quality Services at Southwest Transplant Alliance. Before joining STA, she worked as a Data Management and Analysis Manager with Baylor Scott & White Health. She has also served as the Transplant Quality and Compliance Manager at the University of Chicago Medicine and Quality Systems Coordinator at the Gift of Hope OPO in Illinois.

Jas is adept at translating complex compliance requirements into clear, actionable processes; anticipating risk; and identifying improvement opportunities. Throughout her career, Jas has been guided by a commitment to advancing healthcare through a culture of quality, collaboration, accountability, and innovation.

Jas received her Bachelor of Pharmacy from Birla Institute of Technology and a Master of Computer Information Systems from Bradley University. She is an ASQ CQA Certified Auditor, and she received her LEAN Six Sigma Black Belt from Villanova University.
