Jenny Harshman

Jenny Harshman is the Director of Learning and Development at Southwest Transplant Alliance, where she leverages her extensive background in modern workplace learning and clinical education to strengthen organizational capability and elevate workforce excellence. Prior to joining STA, Jenny served as Senior Director of Clinical Learning and Workforce Development at Children’s Health, leading enterprise initiatives—including major violence-prevention and infection-prevention programs—that drove significant improvements in safety, quality, and team performance across the system.

A respected national thought leader, Jenny has presented internationally, authored and edited influential professional development resources, and earned honors such as the ANPD Leader Award and the DFW Great 100 Nurses Award. With advanced executive training, an MSN in Nursing Education, and a strong record of national service through the Association for Nursing Professional Development, she brings a mission-driven approach to learning leadership. In her role at STA, Jenny ensures that teams are empowered, well-prepared, and continuously supported—directly contributing to the organization’s mission to save lives through the gift of organ and tissue donation.
